That's why it's perfectly normal for a new pair to feel slightly snug at first. After wearing them for a while, they'll loosen just enough to give you that comfortable, lived-in feel without losing their shape.
What If I'm Between Sizes?
If you're between sizes, I usually recommend sizing down.
Personally, I'd rather have my jeans fit a little more snug than end up too loose later in the day. Since Judy Blues relax as you wear them, most of my customers are happiest when they choose the smaller of the two sizes.
Of course, everyone prefers their jeans a little differently, but this is the recommendation I give most often in my boutique.
